Sometimes the lesser of two evils is unavoidable provided, of course, that one is actually less evil than the other.
Beyond that, I do not ever expect to be able to vote for any “perfect” candidate. I don’t believe it possible because we’re all different in our beliefs and priorities.
That said, I agree, there have been times when the choice really was no choice at all and I marked the R ballot out of habit or general principle and that’s a habit I intend to break.Read more
I get so confused.
It's OK for African-Americans to vote as a block.
It's OK for Hispanics to vote as a block.
It's OK for Asians to vote as a block.
It's OK for Muslims to vote as a block.
It's OK for lqbtqwerty?+ to vote as a block.
It's OK for women to vote as a block.
But men voting as a block is somehow misogynist?
Whites voting as a block is raaaaycist?
Note how the article focused on INSURANCE companies and not the people affected by the law?
- Nothing about the millions who had insurance plans they liked and could afford who lost them.
- Nothing about the fact that the majority of those "20 million" who are insured through the marketplace were already on Medicaid, or were qualified for it but had never applied for it.Read more
So the extortion tax penalty is going to go up?
I still don't have the extra money to pay the 2014 and 2015 penalty - total of about $400, which is why I never could afford insurance on on my own in the first place! Idiots.

You can look at any historical photographs of anarchists and see they've been using the face covering tactic forever. The fact that liberal college students or the paranoid people are in the crowds doesn't change the fact that they are being manipulated by Leftists/Anarchists.Read more
I first heard Obama speak almost exactly 10 years ago at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner (an annual Virginia Democrat Party affair at which my firm always paid for a table). I admit to being curious as to what all the buzz about, he being touted as a "rising star."

I'm sick to death of all these nabobs who have this revelation that Russia or China has suddenly just now started to attempt to 'influence' an American election.
Here's a news flash dolts, they have been 'influencing' our elections for at least the last 70 years. Whether directly or indirectly, they make attempts to drive things in their favor.Read more
The jobs Obama saved or created were for Republican politicians. Agree, sans Obama and his I-won-pen-phone mantra, probably would not have been possible....
Democrats have suffered devastating losses at all levels of government since Obama was inaugurated in 2009 including;
- 69 House Seats
- 13 Senate Seats
- 901 State Legislative Seats
- 30 State Legislative Chambers
- 12 Governorships
They fundamentally do not understand why they lost. They were promised this election. They had all of the money, the ground game, the backing of the rich and powerful.
The media was in the tank to the point that they were coaching her for town halls and debates. And yet she LOST.Read more
I keep saying it. A lot of the better people in my generation seem to favor the elementary version of US politics in one way or another: that both sides are legitimate.
The honest, historical truth is that Leftism is uniquely anti-American.Read more
