Veteran Assaulted For Mentioning God

As an AF retiree, this story makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. All our service personnel swear an oath to protect and defend our Constitution, which includes the Freedom of Religion included in our Bill of Rights.

For any military official to deny any of our rights in the Bill of Rights, is an anathema to our Creator and our nation, and is contrary to the Supreme Law of the Land!

No one in this nation has the authority to deny any citizen their right to acknowledge their god, no matter whether that person works for the government or not!

Whether in uniform or in civilian attire, no one has the authority to deny a citizen the right to speak about his or her god. Congress has made no such law, therefore there is no authority to deny the name of God being used in any speech!

Throughout the history of this nation, presidents have always made public speeches not only asking God for His blessings, but also His protection. Congress has an assigned and paid for minister, to open each session of Congress. Are we to believe that their minister does not reference God in his prayer in the Halls of Congress?

Our currency carries the statement, In God we Trust, on it's face and one can bet that currency is present on government personnel at work. How many memorials are present on our National Mall with the name of God inscribed on them?

One could go on, but the point has been made, we are a nation that believes in God and Freedom of Religion.

The political correct attack on our Freedom of Religion must come to an end and those who are responsible for it, punished under the laws of this land.

"I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

This is the U.S. Military oath of induction for enlisted men and women. It includes the word God, and swears or affirms to support and defend the Constitution, which includes the First Amendment.

The soldiers in this video have broken that oath, taken in God's name. May He have mercy on their souls. Meanwhile, they and the superior officer who ordered this should face court martial.

I guess I can't say what I want to say, so I'll just have to say that really chaps my hide.

Christian or not, there is no surer sign that Freedom in America is in jeopardy than when a man is forcibly removed by military people for referencing God, who's divine providence made the birth of this nation possible.

There is also no surer sign that the men and sometimes women who gave their lives for this country are no longer held in honor, that those things they esteemed at the highest price are considered illegal to acknowledge publicly.

Their blood, their lives and all that their lives meant to freedom are trampled under the feet of the "politically correct", ungodly, justice and freedom perverting tyrants of atheism, secularism and homosexuality.

My own father was one of those men who paid the highest price. My son has seen 5 deployments and I'm a veteran myself.... So, on second thought, I will say what I wanted to say (and see if it gets removed)

.... Damn, what was done to Sgt Major Oscar Rodriquez just really pisses me off.
