A message to all Americans from the Sand Pit.
It's freezing here. I'm sitting on hard cold dirt between rocks and shrubs at the base of the Hindu Kush Mountains, along the Dar'yoi Pamir River, watching a hole that leads to a tunnel that leads to a cave. Stake out, my friend, and no pizza delivery for thousands of miles.
I also glance at the area around my ass every ten to fifteen seconds to avoid another scorpion sting. I've actually given up battling the chiggers and sand fleas, but the scorpions give a jolt like a cattle prod. Hurts like a bastard.Read more
Crowdstrike is the IT company the DNC hired to investigate the hacking of their computer network. Crowdstrike was brought in because the DNC refused to give the FBI access to their computers.
Crowdstrike attributed the DNC hack to Russia simply because of the tools the hackers used, nothing else. But investigators have found those same 'Russian hacking tools' are available from a variety of sources.
This discovery nullifies significant portions of Crowdstrike's initial report. So there is absolutely no proof Russians hacked the DNC after all.Read more
One has to wonder why Russia would go to the trouble of using military force against Sweden?
Norway and Denmark are bordering or are a stone's throw (or skip) across the Baltic water, and I'd like to know how such an invasion or attack to acquire a strategic Swedish island (why else?) would not inevitably drag Norway, Denmark and NATO (meaning the US) right into the mess.Read more
Steve Pieczenak is probably concerned that the activities of the CIA could destroy it for good. The CIA:
1). Amassed a huge surveillance network without mandate or oversight
2). Collected history's biggest collection of private information in one place; and then
3). Proceeded to lose control of its tools, and thus of ALL that information
What is clear remains: leave the f*ckers with no oversight, and they grow monstrous, freedom-infringing and obliterating at every step.
1) CIA contracted over 5000 people to make exploits. This, right there, is reason enough to stop funding to "just enough to function". The more ego-prone humans you give access to "secret hacker materials", the greater the chance something will leak.
Where are the records to background checks, clearances, confirmed identities, personal information, etc of these 5000+ people? Who was in charge of oversight and security/access levels, if any?Read more
If any of you have ever been to a military funeral in which taps was played; this brings out a new meaning of it. Here is something Every American should know. Until I read this, I didn't know, but I checked it out and it's true:
We in the United States have all heard the haunting song, 'Taps...' It's the song that gives us the lump in our throats and usually tears in our eyes. But, do you know the story behind the song?Read more
I've been saying this for twenty years and predicted the general thrust of all these developments.
I've said it many times before and I will say it again. Underestimating the intelligence, innovations or military strength of the ChiComs will be the last mistake the United States makes before it is wiped from the face of the Earth.
All declining empires underestimate their final opponents and have done so for thousands of years. The rising hegemon always turns out to be quite capable of exterminating the fading power very easily.Read more
And this basically encapsulates the Obama administration's whole strategy of dealing with the Islamic State.
Their primary focus is on playing word games to diminish the problems their strategies have exacerbated.
The problem is highlighted by their continued use of the outdated 'ISIL' label for the Islamic State. The core leadership of IS coalesced in the early aughts in Afghanistan.
It moved into Fallujah in 2004 during the Iraq war and declared a Caliphate. Coalition forced surrounded Fallujah and went street by street and crushed into near obscurity what was then called Al Qaeda in Iraq by U.S. military command.Read more
Believe it or not, one person actually foresaw the European 'Refugee crisis' back in 2010. Europe runs the risk of turning black from illegal immigration, it could turn into Africa.
'We need support from the European Union to stop this army trying to get across from Libya, which is their entry point. At the moment there is a dangerous level of immigration from Africa into Europe and we don't know what will happen.Read more
